Not sure about all of this because I’m not familiar but I did come across entry fee of $500 and then $250/mo isn’t bad for under 30. Considering it for the summer

Can I get cliffs of what she's like. I don't hear anything good, but nothing specific. I'm just curious what's she is actually doing to piss everyone off.

I heard she made it easier to get a prime tee time.

My buddy was a member and played with a regular group. He said she essentially ran them out of the grill room for just typical post round drinks/food/bet settling talk. They weren’t being overly rowdy or loud but it apparently drove her nuts that people were enjoying each other’s company. Additionally, she’s ran off multiple pros in the time that he was a member. He’s since moved on to another club

It was either a bug or a camera. She caught a member talking shite about her and either canned him or fined him. I don't remember which.

Had an LT member buddy of mine reach out to me today to inquire on OCC prices. They are very nervous over there.

Side note... how can it be true that they only have 98 golf members as some have said in this thread? No way they can survive on that? It must be awesome to play there now... no slow play, get any tee time you want, course is always in good shape, practice facilities wide open

I heard the same rumor, except 92 members. Hard to believe they're that low. There's gotta be more than 100 homes in the Le Triomphe subdivision

It is not open to the public. I would say there are 300 homes in the neighborhood.

Does anyone know the owners and can relay the message to them that the GM is ruining their investment?

Cliff was telling me a story about one of the LT pros coming to Oakbourne to play 18 holes. It wasn't a holiday or anything, just any old weekday. He said the pro was amazed at the amount of member activity. People playing or just hitting balls.

See OP, owner is now deceased. The club is in a trust. She runs the trust.

The trust will run out of money eventually. It’ll be sold. It just may be a bumpy ride.

FYI- the club has been placed in a foundation with most of Mike's assets not a trust. Private foundations qualify for tax exemption under section 501c (3). Mike hated paying taxes and he took every avenue available to avoid them..even owning a money losing golf course. FYI that foundation will never run out of money...some benefactors may raise holy hell once they see how much that club loses monthly and vote to dispose of that asset. That is what I anticipate will happen . O BTW try getting a tee time this week at Oakbourne...I was with a member who said tee sheets are full not only this week but most weeks.
