This is what it generates for charities and tourism organizations
A record-breaking moment for a great cause!
The Fore!Kids Foundation, producer of the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, was proud to present the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation with a $1,115,000 donation from this year’s tournament.
This marks the largest contribution in Fore!Kids’ 69-year history!
The Louisiana Hospitality Foundation supports and strengthens individuals across Louisiana’s hospitality community.

The Zurich is going to be an interesting case study for the new tour. It’s no longer a not for profit and the executives directive is going to be get returns for SSG and other stake holders.
BUT the Zurich seems to be one of the Tour’s most successful events at a local level. Growing attendance, record breaking fundraising, etc.
One thing is for sure, the event can’t keep going on as it is. As successful as it is locally, it’s horrendous as a television property.

Pirate went on record that it was the most pathetic, embarrassing tournament he's ever seen in golf.
I wonder if he will ever explain those comments.

It sounds like the event will match or exceed the $3.6M total charity give from 2025.
