Finding a golf instructor in souther California

My daughters fiancé took up golf about a year ago and could benefit from some lessons. He has a birthday coming up next week and I would like to get him a lesson or two. Anyone here recommend someone or know the best way to find a good instructor for him? He lives in West LA if that helps.

If Laguna Niguel area works for him, Monte Scheinblum would be my choice. I think highly of the guy.
