Apparently there is an opening in group 4 if you want to play.

No doubt. It’s a busy golf weekend for me:

Tomorrow: UT Club
Friday - Sunday: Berry Creek

I’ll be jello for that Sunday morning round.

Looking forward to Friday even though my late-scheduled baseball clinic interrupted the weekend-long festivities. Teravista and Avery Ranch are the only courses I've played in the north Austin area since moving here just over 4 years ago.

I need to play Avery again. It was cold as hell and rainy last time, but enjoyed the course.

I’ve played Star Ranch a ton this summer.

About to move to Dripping Springs in May, so any insight on courses down that way are welcome.

Remind me to introduce you to my buddy on Saturday - he lives in Dripping and can help you out a ton on all kinds of stuff about the area.

I've also converted him to an LSU fan, so he now has that going for him.

Went out of way to drive by Star Ranch and pro shop when was in area few weeks ago and would like to play there at some point. I'm part of the MGM system which includes Falcon Head in Lakeway (so don't think far from Dripping) and supposed to be really nice.

Let me know whenever you want to play and want some company.

Will do. Go to Teravista just about every day and within a 10 minute drive of both Tera and Avery. Always looking for someone to play with since still relatively new to the area (moved here October 2016).

They keep it in good shape. In summer it can be god awful because there isn’t a spot of shade on the place. But it’s pretty and has a few memorable holes.

I thought about joining that over at Teravista, but never pulled the trigger.

It's a great deal given range balls included. I've gotten more than $s worth since going on full telework status in March.

Only issue I have is transitioning from their range balls, which are like hitting circular rocks, to semi-respectable balls on the course.

Yeah, they are hard as hell. Buckets are crazy expensive now that they installed the tracking system... which rarely works anyway.

I just can’t make it out often enough is what it boils down to. And my golf game reflects that.

The practice PRO V1s were SOOO much better than the balls they just transitioned to. Think my skeletal system is in constant recovery as many as I hit / week.

Going back to courses near Dripping area courses, a coworker speaks very highly of a course in Blanco. Forgot name, so sorry for not being much help beyond that.
