I’m about to buy Snell and I’m tempted to go ahead and buy 5 dozen for the discount. I think I might get 50/50 Black and X. Seems like both are great balls

I ordered a dozen mtb x to try. If I like I’ll buy the 5 dozen.

I ordered two dozen after the mygolfspy review and they were as advertised.

Didn’t balloon on me, had a nice trajectory and spin was pretty good around the greens.

What was eye opening to me was distance. They are long as shite. I would be surprised if you didn’t pick up 10 yards off drives.

They are advertised as being on the firm side but it wasn’t bothersome at all, it didn’t feel that firm to me.

Get that sample pack and try both. I know I’ve found my new ball for the summer.

Had a hand written note from Dean Snell in the package

Vice suits my game the best. I've tried cut but didn't like them. Project A is going to be the next ball I try out.

I have often been asked why a 10 hdcp never plays anything but a brand new top of the line golf ball on every shot.
The answer is that when my iron shot fails to carry the hazard by one foot, I want to be damsure the ball had nothing to do with it !

The only such thing I accept as a value ball are previous year Pro V1Xs new at a discount

I played the original snell mtb, then the black. Received the new mtb x’s when they came out and they’re my favorite by far. Just feel perfect to me in every way. And little over 27$ a dozen when buying bulk is perfect. Glad I got them when I did though, my golf spy has them on backorder again.

Under $40 a dozen and they feel like Pro V1 when you hit them.

Srixon Z Star XV for $20 a dozen during sales last year was the GOAT. With Father’s Day coming up I would expect another sale soon

The only problem I've ever had with these is durability. You hit one tree trunk or one cartpath and the cover of the ball ends up looking like the hair from the lead singer of a 1980s British new wave band.

IOW Titleist Pro V Ones. I find more of these balls when I'm looking for my ball than all other golf balls combined. Titleist likes to brag that more golfers use them than any other brand. What they don't mention is that a lot of these golfers that are using them are terrible.

Try the Duo Pro. They're $35/doz and I think they're better than the Duo Urethane.

Bump. So I’ve now played two rounds with the Snell MTB-X. Ball is legit. Crisp feel when struck and long off the tee. I was shocked by how well it spins on short iron shots.

Just ordered three more dozen. For the price and performance you’d be hard pressed to find a better ball.

Played with the MTB-X today and it’s good stuff, ordered already, great around the greens and off the putter. I enjoyed the distance gain off the tee but will need to get used to irons flying a 1/2 to full club longer.
