$350M for a 10-event season - down from 14 (13?) in 2026. Assuming they will align the schedule with DP Tour/Asian Tour events for players who want to play more

ETA: For example, they could easily remove LIV Singapore, LIV Hong Kong, & LIV Riyadh and commit players to the 3 events on the Asian Tour that are played at the same course

This is actually the best idea i’ve heard yet, and the most possible to keep alive.

YouTube golf has become a huge market.

The Bryan Bros just started a golf league tour.

So this would essentially become the better version of that. On YouTube. And the YouTube people would watch it

I mean it can maybe work in theory but you’re never going to attract touring-pro caliber golfers. It would be a few washed old pros like phil and sergio and a bunch of +3s and +4s trying to make a name for themselves to start their own channel. Would likely be a waste of time for anyone who wants to play actual tour level golf/get into the majors.

The idea of it is probably 100x better than what anyone could realistically execute.

The players have to be likeable and have personalities if they are going the "youtube golf" route.

Wasn't LIV originally streamed on Youtube? We've seen how well that went the first time.

Oh i’m not saying it will be successful or profitable.

Probably just where LIV is best suited for. Yes some of the players are way too qualified, but everyone on LIV is irrelevant anyway.

It’s a shite product that has more money behind it than YouTube golf, so it’s a good spot for it to land and they can get like a couple hundred thousand views per video.

I mean they have like 12k people watching their broadcasts currently. It’s the worst rated sport there is by viewership. Im arguing that a pivot to YouTube golf means some people will actually watch it
