I got mine after playing for a month. 135 yard 8 iron. I've come very close several times since then, but nothing has fell in.

I had my first and only last month at Pinehurst #8 hole #5. 116 yards with a gap wedge. Pin was up front, so we could all see the ball disappear. I raised my arms in the air, and one of my playing partners gave me a hard high 5, and it dislocated my shoulder. I popped it back in place and finished the round.

That’s incredible. I remember when I heard about Mancil Davis. Supposedly had over 50

I have played at Bentwater CC with Mancil Davis. he is a machine with his irons as far as accuracy.

1. 205 par 3 at FBCC, 5 iron, one bounce and went in.

I had a double eagle at Thrash Park.

I unfortunately do not have any. I’ve gotten close on a Par 4 at Carter hitting the flag and another time at Santa Maria the same year but banged out.

I flew one into the edge of the cup last year from 155 out with a 9 iron and it shot off the green. I made bogey.

Wondering if I’ll ever get one. My ball doesn’t really move when it hits the green. High swing/high ball flight doesn’t give me a lot of chances

Depends. If you’re on an RTJ course for example that’s the best shot to have a chance with the severe slopes in places.

16 on The Senator for example, right front pin. Land behind or to the left of the pin, slope will bring it toward it.

Sculled a 7 iron. Only got about 3 feet off the ground. Looked for ball around green for a few minutes and found in hole. Not very exciting but a 1 on the card.

Zero. I’ve been all over the pin numerous times, but nothing goes in. Maybe one day.

Have holed out for eagle at Oak Knoll in Hammond from 150 on #5 and from 85 on #7. Also almost got the first ace on #16 at Mystic Creek a few years ago but it was about 3 inches right.

#1 at City Park in BR. It was my first ever swing in BR after moving from Leesville. I was using a JRTC Fort Polk stamped ball and a Knight #7 iron. Hit it pretty decent and it hit the rock hard green and hopped about 6 feet in the air before hitting the pin and riding the pin all the way into the cup.

185 yd 5 iron. Didn’t see the ball go in the hole. Thought it was long, but we couldn’t find it until my son walked back to the hole and pulled the ball out.

it has been a lot tougher than I thought it would be on me. The muscle spasms are brutal. Muscle relaxers don't faze them.

I can't start therapy for another couple of weeks, there was more damage than the MRI showed.

Swinging a club may happen in December or January.

Thanks for asking brother.

Hope you have a good doc. I’d refer mine but he died in a plane crash. He gave me my life back.

We hope you heal as fully as possible.

This board is better when you experiment with different clubs.

With the physical changes, you may should do a fitting next March or April.

Good luck and get well.

Me neither. Played for over 20 years and never had it happened. I’ve eagled before, which is impressive.

One day.

Hell of a hole in one on old 11 at LSU.
I have 4 all at LSU. #10 twice, once when they were still using old #14 green and #13 twice. It's been a while for me too

No hole in 1's for me.

Since I picked it up and really started playing again in June, I finally eagled my first hole.

Greystone hole 13. Sent my drive into orbit to where I had about a 30-35 yard pitch shot. It's no hole in 1, but I can say that I've never felt that way on a golf course before.
