WGC Groups

Format - How It Works

Early notes:

- Speith and Keegan Bradley were first group out. Speith comes away with the win +2. Didn't take the lead until hole 16.

- Justin Rose with the HIO on #17. Playing against Adam Scott, who had a birdie putt on the same hole to close out the match but couldn't get it to drop. On to 18 they go.

eta: Scott takes the win on 18.

- Luke List beat Justin Thomas 3&2. You hate to see it happen to Bama boy like that.

- My boy Kizz with the win over Leishman.

Apparently 16 is some type of long drive hole. Min Woo Lee (who?) is leading with a modest poke of 392yds. Hovland previously held the lead at 380yds.

Deshambaw has yet to reach that hole.

DeChambeau has a pulled muscle in his right rib cage. He said he dosen't expect to be able to have his 100% swing until the Masters. Says he will be at 75%.

Not to mention, if you were to make that argument, then it would be UT Club, not ACC.

True. I was basically going off his post round interview where he went on about how well he knows the course and played tons of golf there.

DJ just banged out a 422yd drive on 16.

What did he end up doing? I bet 75% Bryson could still go nitro 400 on that wind aided staircase if he could keep it on the grid.

Casey has now conceded his second match to Noren due to his back injury. He is done.

I love Kisner myself. Him, Scottie Scheffler...who has been playing lights out lately, Speith...root for those guys the most.

I saw Speith got his arse kicked today. Gonna have to look up Scheffler's results.

eta: andddddd he lost
