I can’t believe it’s already December.
I started out the month with a crap round: 88. I hit maybe 3 good shots all day. Luckily, the putter kept it from being closer to a hundo. I’ll be off work Dec. 23 through the first week of the new year if anyone wants to play.

79 this morn at Koasati Pines. Iron game pretty sharp. Driver was wayward went to the 3 wood a lot.

I don’t know if I’ll play again until January, unless Bandit and I head back to the Mecca in Madison.

I love that place. It’s just like Thibodaux. Except it’s clean, and the course has 18 holes, and the women don’t have leg tatts or 14 kids running around without shoes on in the Huddle House parking lot while she runs in for vodka, milk, and a carton of Doral menthols.

Shot a 77 at L'auberge (Contraband Bayou). Tied the best round of my life. Winds were around 15-20 mph which made me feel even better. Made 4 10-20 ft par putts in a row BUT also missed 4 birdie putts that were all less than 10 ft. Can't complain though!

37 Putts (5 3-putts)
I also had 3 lost balls in the fluffy grass off the fairway that I took a stroke and a drop instead of searching for. There was a 4-some behind us.
Course was in great shape as usual and the greens were very fast. I had a great front 9 hitting 7/9 GIR but took 21 putts!
Hit the driver and irons pretty well... Only 1 bad hole all day that I hit 2 poor shots on and then compounded it by thinning a pitch shot over the green.

Played Atchafayla as well on Saturday, course was great teed off at 1pm on a Saturday. No one in front or behind my group. I'm also off that week. If it's not too cold I'll play
