Any GB’s putt with a counter balance putter? I recently switched from my Newport with a Superstroke 2.0 grip to a SeeMore Center Shafted model that came with a standard grip. I did well with it so far from 15ft and in, but my speed on lag putts has been inconsistent since I switched.

Went to order a Suoerstroke to put on it, and I filled out their online fitting tool survey. The suggestion came back with Flatso 2.0 with their counter core weight system. I went ahead and pulled the trigger, but wanted to get some opinions on counter balanced putters from those who’ve played them.

I have a 37” counterbalanced SRT 2 Ball. I’ll never putt with anything other than a counterbalance putter. It’s forgiving and smooths my stroke out. 4 foot and in is automatic and lags are really good as well

I have the 50g weight in a pistol gt 1.0. Choke down on the 35" putter so my hands are below the weight. Been good for me

I have a center shafted Seemore with a counter weight Superstroke. Short putts I've been much more consistent. The problem is it seems really difficult to get the ball to the hole on long distance putts. Normal distances, say 15 feet or closer, distance control is very consistent. Over that, and it's a struggle to get it there.

CB putters are good for people that need to quiet there hands. However, if you like to release the putter fully I would stay away from a CB putter.

You already pulled the trigger. Try that shite and see if it feels good.

Net had a CB scotty. Felt good but just didn’t seem like it was any kind of answer.

I have a 38" TM Daddy Long Legs counterbalanced putter. I have an arc to my stroke, and I've been told I like to "hold onto the stroke" instead of releasing the head. Makes sense to me because my miss is usually a push. I don't know that I actually make more putts with this than I used to with my 34" Scotty Golo, but it feels right to me.

They tend to help the release. The weight in the grip helps to allow the putterhead to pass the hands and release. The weight simulates an anchored belly putter

Oh, it’s going on for sure. Gonna bring it to my Haberdasher/Golf Club Engineer.

Somehow, even with my claw/saw/pencil grip, I’ve somehow had some “hit” creep into my stroke on longer putts. I either blow them by, or leave them way short trying to not blow them by. Hoping this might help smooth my tempo back out. Worth a shot.
