Hey, I have family coming in town this weekend and we have tee times at both Copper Mill and The Bluffs. I have not played either recently. Can y'all please help advise on which one you would rather play at this time? Thanks

Drive east to Carter. It’s in very good shape.

$50 tee times available after 2. We played around that time 2 weeks ago on Saturday and finished in 4 hours.

Nice little 9 hole outing you had there.

Alright, I’m not much of a golfer but ended up being able to get them on at The Historic City Park Golf Course. Sounds like a badass place. They’re big golfers so glad I was able to get them a tee time. Thanks guys.

I looked at some pics, looked kinda similar to the Memphis Country Club which is what they’re used to playing. They brought me out there to play one time, I was terrible.

You made the right choice. The historic city park golf course in Baton Rouge is similar to pebble beach. Very scenic. I think it’s the course Sam Burns grew up on

Go watched the strapped from NLU when they played there. Gives you a fair representation of the place.

The problem is that they’ll book 16 foursomes per tee time.

I had a 2pm tee time and when we rolled up to the first tee, a group was just teeing off.

About 4 holes in, they let us play through and we finished 18 at 6.

This. Call BC and tell them you have out of town guests and ask if they can squeeze you in. Probably can’t do it at 8am, but later in the day, they can make it happen.

Played there this afternoon. Course is in great shape. Greens are a little grainy, so make sure your guests know how to read grain.

Played Bluffs recently and it’s getting better. There are some splotchy greens that have bad weed buds but the fairways were better than I anticipated. Some of the teeboxes are total shite but only a few. Still the most interesting course in the area. #17 was playing 205 yards with a two club wind into your face. I was lucky to hit the trap next to the green with a driver.

See if you can catch an emergency 9 or 18 at LSU Golf Course. Site of the 1955, 61 and 67 US Open.
