Looks like some buddies and I will be hitting some of Denver/Breckinridge areas finest courses in June.

Any suggestions, anyone have a connection somewhere and would like to help an old buddy out?

MHD, will be in your neck of the woods - wanna grab a drink?

Cherry Hills, if you can find someone to get you on. One of the nicest courses you’ll ever play. My great uncle was a member. Played it twice with him but he’s no longer with us.

Raven in Silverthorne was fun.

Copper Creek was meh.

Those are the only 3 in the area I’ve played

Cherry Hills,

We happened to be in Denver when the senior open was being played there. I was about 9 years old. I got a high five from Arnold Palmer and chi chi Rodriguez. I was 5 feet away from Jack. Jack won it that year.

I hit it far in Louisiana, but here at 5600 feet the ball flies and people don’t believe what clubs you are hitting. 190+ yard 8 irons, 302 yard par 4 and I sailed the green with a 3 wood, etc. Its just nothing like golf at or around sea level at all. MHD barely ever plays a round of golf below 8000 feet elevation. I believe his distances and the clubs he uses, but every shot he hits has an asterisk next to the distances they travel

Rummel, I’ll be in CO for basically all of June. Let me know when y’all iron out some dates and locations and I’ll be there.

Still a 1.2 handi no matter what elevation I play at. Put an asterisk next to that.

No idea. But my home course is hard AF. Only one par 3 under 210 yards from the tips. Lightening fast greens.

My lowest scores are from other courses in my area.
