I’d like to see the scorecards, but I started watching when the first match was on 10 or 11, and I can only remember the international team bogeying like 2 holes. I can remember them making a zillion 10-15 foot putts. It was just like Friday and Saturday at the Ryder cup. I think I heard the international team gained 14 strokes putting today…bonkers

The only reason why anyone on this board likes Burns is that he played for LSU. If he played at Arizona State or something, he'd be the board laughingstock and whipping boy. That being said, the entire US team is soft then it comes to team golf.

It’s tough to win against a hot putter. And the INTL teams were draining everything.
I’ve spoken to Ted about this and he admitted that Scottie has problems getting comfortable with alternate shot. Not Bc he doesn’t like being a teamate, he just is a huge creature of habit

Sam has huge talent, but he needs to get tougher mentally and develop that killer instinct.

Alt shot is a weird game mentally. I’m a little ADHD, so naturally, I love it! You have to lean into it and embrace the chaos. It’s certainly not for everyone.

He came over the top of a 5 iron from 241 yds and the OB is 6 feet off the edge of the green. It was the 3rd hole and to say that change the match is just absurd. Sam kept hitting fairways all day, setting up SS with good approach opportunities. What about SS 'shanking' his drive into a deep fairway bunker and Sam hitting an amazing approach shot within 15', and SS missing the putt. Sam hit an amazing putt on 18 that very unluckily didn't drop. It was one of those days where the Int team made putts from everywhere and the American team made few. And it has turned today, that is just golf. Sam is playing amazing golf and that twerp BC just has to attack somebody.

I have known Sam since he was 13 years old and watch him develop at DT 265 academy. You will not meet a nicer person. He is ranked 8th in the world and that is without any 'luck' going his way at all. When that turns, and it will, he will be regarded as a top 5 player in the world. And yes, he is a proud LSU grad, just like me, and I am glad he is a Tiger. IF you aren't, get the heck off this board.

I think he is a good guy. I don't think he should constantly be defended or have excuses made for him like he is the prodigal son of Baton Rouge or something. Too much of the board acts like he's infallible. It's nauseating. Hope he wins a major eventually, but the constant dick riding after numerous choke jobs is insane work.
