No under estimating how good these players are but the field is still a joke. Trying to say that without discounting what Cam Young is doing it was eventually going to happen for him.

just bet a few clams on Echavarria. I don’t think Young’s got it mentally.

I hope it was not a significant bet.

Kouvin is probably one of the 50 - 60 best players in the world as of today.

Based on what?

He is barely in the top 500 of the OGWR, but you've got him top 50 in the world?

Luke Clanton was a far superior college player. Where do you rank him?

That's because he's played 6 events on Tour this year in total (including the U.S. Open).

He's gone T-5, T-6, and T-11 in his last three Tour events as an amateur.

He is the #1 amateur in the world right now.

He is 51st in True Strokes Gained having only played a handful of professional events (well ahead of Luke Clanton).

He is almost certainly a top 50 - 60 player in the world as it stands on August 4th, 2025.

There wasnt a full field in any of those tournaments. He is playing well in the 2nd tier events. That is really good golf. But it's not top 50 in the world.

What?

The top dogs didnt play in the ISCO championship, the John Deere, or even the Wyndham. Those are 2nd tier tournaments.
