Played my first round with the X5s last week.
I wasn't swing my best but I flew a couple of greens, they are long.
Looks like I might have to adjust my yardages.

I just joined the Srixon family. Played Mizunos for over 20 years. Just not quite good enough for blades anymore. Tried Callaway Apex and PXG before going to Srixon. I got a set of ZX7s with Nippon 120s. Best feeling clubs I have ever hit. I was a huge skeptic, but am now a believer.

I went to a club fitting about a month and a half ago. Ended up purchasing the x7’s with Accra shafts. Last I checked the grips and shafts arrived but the club heads still haven’t come in. The delays are horrendous

I picked up a club longer when switching. I’ve occasionally nuked a couple as well.

They are 3 degrees stronger than standard lofts. The X5 and X7’s are ridiculously easy to hit. Great irons. Anyone hit the utility?

I game the 585s. I believe they’re standard.

Just hit my ZX5/ZX7's for the first time and all I can say is wow. I was supposed to go get them bent 1° strong tomorrow but I'm definitely reconsidering as I was carrying a six iron 185 to 190. My ball speed wasn't quite as high on the ZX7's but it was still consistent.

I’m thinking about swapping my PXG 0211’s for these. What is the rationale behind combining the X5 and X7?

Mainly personal preference. I liked the smaller footprint and feel of the ZX7's and felt they would give me more room for growth down the line. I hit them both very well so I decided to keep the extra forgiveness in the long irons and gave up a little in the short irons for more workability.

If I had to do it all over again, I would get the X7's over the X5's.
