Then went back to playing 6 days a week

She had a C-section, so l l was able to play the next day while she was still in the hospital. Shot my PR at the time (69). Had to decide whether to brag about it and get in trouble or keep it quiet. I told everybody.

Is that not the crappiest excuse for a bed you've ever experienced?

We got home from the hospital on a Sunday and I played golf Thursday for both of my kids.

Accurate.

If you live near family, you will be able to sneak in a couple rounds a month. If you are like me and are a looooong way away from your family and you try to play, you will put strain on your marriage. In this scenario, you will need to leave work a little early and play 9 holes for a while.

It's insulting how they treat the dad in that room. But we can't say shite. I found it hard to even get ice water from those man hating nurses at the second kid's hospital (we moved with the doctor) until one of them saw my LSU shirt. Thank God she wasn't a Gump.

We did get upgraded for the first kid and my bed went completely flat so it was awesome in a sleeping on a dojo mat kinda way.

How long was it after your child was born before you snuck away for a few hours for a round?

Let's see, oldest kid is 9. I'm going to play this Sunday. So...9 years.

I was playing 5-6x a week before getting married. I worked form home, played golf for work pretty frequently, and lived 5 minutes from the course. It was awesome.

Married with a 2 year old now. I'm lucky to play once every two weeks now.

Sure doesn’t feel like it haha, granted that’s only about May-October. Our Midwest weather has been awful to start the spring.

Before marriage played all the time.

Before kids played a great deal.

After kids, very limited. Maybe 9 after work and some Saturdays.

Now kids are 21 and 18. Play all the time.
