Amazing how they went from really good to crap so quickly.

The Islands greens were great today. Very receptive, rolled well, not many unrepaired divots, etc.

That is the issue at Beaver Creek. No one repairs divots which has my group repairing 4 or more per green.

It’s why we quit making the drive up there. And unraked bunkers, divots not sanded, tees left in the ground, and the bathrooms are disgusting. You also never know if the food counter will be open.

Well you may be right but I can tell you when I apply it on my bermuda if prodiamine hits the grass no poa shows up. It only shows up if I miss a spot, and my backyard is the terrible This year so far I only have a section along my fence and that gets hit with negate

Its different on Bermuda greens than Bermuda in your yard or roughs, tees and fwys. take my advice and leave this subject alone. This chemical it will damage the greens, You will not find a superintendent that will put it on their greens.

Prodiamine is not labeled for greens. Label is the law!!! prodamine is a root inhibator meaning it shrinks your roots. Golf greens don't have deep roots like the rest of the course. Roots on greens is usually in the 3-5" depth, and shorter in winter. Putting prodamine on greens will reduce that root depth significantly and make for a possible rough spring transzition, especially if its wet in the spring.
on another note, after using prodiamine for a number of years, some of the Poa will become resistant and the chemical will not work anymore. we are seeing the same issue in places with Specticle herbicide. Universities are doing research, but haven't found a silver bullet yet to kill and prevent Poa from germrinating.

What should be sprayed on Bermuda greens during transition?

What about zoysia?

Played City Park today. The greens are honestly not as bad as I’ve seen them before, but I would still say they’re in rough shape.

Played today. The greens were really inconsistent. Some spots were wet and slow, while some were dry and fast. I’m not going to give them a bad rating because of the rain and time of year, but they were tough to play on.

Beaver greens starting to have the annual POA run. They might get pretty rough during the transition. In a month or two
