Heading out Friday morning and I haven't played since Santa Maria opened up. How is everything looking?

We played Copper Mill a few weekends ago. The course was in pretty good shape.

The greens were a little slow but not bad. Fairways and rough were in decent CM condition.

A few tee boxes were chewed up, but my golf buddy says that doesn't bother him because we can tee it up anyway.

It's worth a visit in my opinion.

Note: We had to wait about 20-30 minutes for a cart, but a guy wearing "The Island" polo gave us each a card for a free round. So they deserve a thumbs up for the customer service.

Any recent updates on Greystone?

Played SM yesterday. Greens are fast AF. Fairways are pretty hard. Other than that, it was great. Watch out for the bunkers, that sand don’t play lol

Played CM last week and is in really good shape. Haven’t played there in a few years and really wasn’t expecting much, and was pleasantly surprised. Greens are a little slow but no bad spots anywhere. Fairways were nice and most of the traps were decent.

Carter is in good shape, but frick them.

Last weekend, the new management double booked the course. We had our 52 man league tournament out there, and it took us almost six hours to complete our round.

Yep. frick that. I love being on the course just as much as anyone, but 6 hours on a hot June day in Louisiana stops being fun.
