Has anyone here attended the Augusta women's amateur championships? I've never been to Augusta and this seems like a much cheaper price point to at least walk the course and see some competitive golf. It looks like I can get tix for $500-$600 per ticket. Hotels are very reasonable right near the course.

Just wondering if it's still an energetic vibe.

It looks like all the concessions are the same as the masters, but do they sell beer at the amateur tournament?

It’s a great way to see the course in person.

The golfers are very talented.

I’ve been twice and found it to be a great experience.

I’ve also been to multiple practice and tournament rounds for the Masters.

The ANWA- Augusta National Women’s Amateur is a first class competition.

I went two years ago - it was tremendous - am going this week too - my daughter has several friends playing in it - I thought it was a blast - enjoyed Champions Retreat more actually … not as scenic but also much more accessible
