I'm headed to Scottsdale in July (I know, I know miserably hot) looking for course recommendations. I've played Troon North, TPC, Camelback and We-Ko-Pa. Any course that I should try to get on?

It's a little ways out of town, but I had a blast on Dinosaur Mt.

that was my first choice. Raptor course, but not showing anything available for it while I'm there. I wonder if it's private on this day, and if my club could get me on.

Grayhawk Talon course is also excellent. Agree w Quintero. Could check out the Boulders (south course better but more challenging). Dinosaur Mtn very memorable but is a drive (like Quintero).

For some lesser expensive options that are closer to Scottsdale proper, Phoenician, McDowell Mountain, Lookout Mountain and all have some nice views.

Two other courses that are good but are in Mesa but closer than Dinosaur would be Longbow and Las Sendas. Las Sendas conditions can be iffy in the summer, so may want to investigate first.

Kierland was pretty nice when we went last year. We also did Grayhawk Raptor, TPC Stadium and both at We Ko Pa.

Loved We Ko Pa so much.

Quintero is a bit of a hike but it is worth it and then some. Low key one of my favorite courses I’ve played in the last five or ten years.

Nicest golf course I have been on. We played the Talon course and it was tight but really cool.
