Have the greens recovered from the punch?

Dude, you are awesome! Hope to buy you a beer someday. So glad Atch is getting some love. It’s such a great layout. (I still disagree with you on 6 tee shot though)

7 is a drained swimming pool but I like it for some reason

Not to go all nerd on ya, but I think 7 is a “template” green called a thumbprint. Some golden age architects used template holes on a lot of different courses. It’s a really fun green in my opinion. Here’s another example at Sleepy Hollow:

I think #2 is supposed to be a Redan green, but as Makes Sense said, it’s not shaped properly... the front right should be higher with more slope from right to left and away. The intent of the design of a redan was that you could land a ball on the front right and have it feed to a back left pin.

Proper Redan:

I get free water. I'll dump 500k a night on this bad boy if I have to.

Thank you for your patronage! Come back soon!

Played today course was in good shape, some greens were a bit hairy but the course was fine. Love playing there fairways were hard some bunkers were unkept, I believe 13's bunker was unplayable today

Played today as well. Similar assessment. I was actually pleasantly surprised at quite a few of the bunkers. You can tell MakesSense has been putting in work. Even 2 green was a lot better than it’s been in the last few years.

There was a sign in the bathroom that they’re punching Tuesday and Wednesday

Played it for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed the course. Thought the greens were in mostly good shape and the bunkers I hit it in were all well kept. Thought it was a fun track and I’ll definitely be back

Played yesterday. The back 9 was closed for punching. The front 9 was open and sanded and punched. Didn't know the back was closed until hole #4 when a friend got a text about it. But staff was helpful and said play the front until we get tried. Still had a good time.

Cut and roll the greens tomorrow, I prefer around 11-13 on the stimp or I’ll clown you later tomorrow, thanks

PS I’ll 3 putt atleast 6-8 times regardless no matter the stimp

Played this weekend. Course was rough and just about every bunker is in need of repair. Honestly they could get rid of some and not miss a beat.
