I somehow lucked out and got practice round tickets 2/3 years. Looks like I’m back to the back of the line

I got rejected again... 9 or 10 years in a row.

I wish they would go to some type of preference point system for this. It's really a shame that some people get tickets multiple times and others never get selected. They should reward the faithful that put in for tickets every year that at least your chances go up each year. Unfortunately it's a totally random process every year.

It's luck of the draw man. I have been signing up for years and never won. Figured my dad had always done it too, and asked him 3 years ago and he told me he didn't know about it. So he signs up for the first time that year and wins Monday tickets for 2018. We both struck out last year. I checked this morning and I got rejected, but just got a text from him that he won again for Monday tickets. Guess I'm going back

So giving to the Tiger Foundation doesn't help. WTF. Does anybody get tickets on their first try? Or is this a kind of build up of years and years of trying. And is for the tournament rounds or just the Mon/Tues/Wed practice and par three tournament?

Some people do

It is totally random each year. No build up or advantage from applying every year.

You can apply for 4 tickets on each practice round day and 2 tickets for each tournament day every year on 1 application. Others may shed some light if there is any advantage to only applying for practice rounds or only applying for 2 tickets, etc. I always just apply for everything and I get rejected every year.
