It looks ridiculously hard. JT is going to shoot 100.

the greens are firm fast and this is the first round...

JT can’t get it together, lately.

I would be doing a lot of chipping with my hybrid off those tight lies by the green.

I would have faked a hamstring injury.

It's stupid to switch the telecast to Peacock.
They are going to lose over half of the viewing audience with premier groupings still on the course.

I hope they do. I’m not paying $5.99 a month. frick it. I’ll just not watch.

I with you Chappy.
I just canceled several subscriptions and I am not going to be roped into another one.

That's a hell of a lot cheaper than whatever you paid the cable company to see most of the first round.

Great first day. Glad to see a major at a great golf course with risk/reward and contouring like Pinehurst. Not the bland birdie race we saw at Valhalla

saw a lot of good golf shots roll off the green today...

Burns showed signs of having a pulse today .

Xanders shot that landed inside of the flagsticks shadow and still rolled off the green was absolutely unfair, I loved it.

Low score wins.
I’m not enamored with a shot 1 yard off line being punished more than one 20 yards off line.
I don’t think I’d pay $500 to be horsewhipped for 4 hours at Pinehurst #2. I’ve played several of the courses there. They were fun.

I love these courses. Anything that challenges these guys this much is fun to watch.
I think I'd want to throw my clubs in the pond if I were playing it but I enjoy watching the best in the world struggle a bit.
