Yes to all of those things about the Maxfli. I've only used the Tour S but it played good enough I didn't need to try the others. Outside of durability, the only thing I'd wish it had was just a little bit more spin around the green. I think for the price it is, it's by far better than any ball in that range and is the only ball in that range that competes with the high end balls.

For me, the Tour is night and day better than the Tour S. IMO, the Tour is longer and more versatile.

Ever since I put the Edison 2.0 wedges in my bag, I can stop any ball on the green. They continue to amaze me.

I've been playing Vice Pro's and really enjoy them. This thread encouraged me to try Maxfli Tour

I've have no complaints with the Vice.. but I feel the Maxfli is a superior ball for the money..

I also put the VA Composite BaddAzz shafts in them.

I changed my update after yesterday's round with the Maxfli Tour again.

I'm going to play the Maxfli Tour for the next 3 weeks and will probably use it on my golf trip if the results stay the same as yesterday.

I love the MaxFli tour at the price point. The 48 balls for $110 is a steal. Normally play proV1x but with that going on I can’t pass it up.

I may have to try the Maxfli. I got 4 dozen Q-star tour for $100. I seriously debated buying the proV1, would have bought the E12 but didn’t have any in white.

The q-star tour has been good performing ball, not too much spin, good feel and distance. Just a solid ball and $25 a dozen was just too good to pass up

Golf balls.com logo overruns 39 a dozen for proV1

Pretty darn good buy all things considered

Did some short practice with Maxfli Tour over the weekend. Really pleased with them. Little more feel around the greens than Vice Pro. Ball is pretty soft off wedges on full swings.

Balls came in today, 4 dozen. Something very interesting happened, I bought the logo overruns from golfballs.com and all 4 dozen have the exact same logo.

No need to break out my sharpie

Got a new ball for you’ll to try. The new PXG Extreme Tour, just came out, ordered 3 dozen for the price of 2 dozen. Totally a different ball from the original. Played them today for the first time, great feel, not clicky at all, plays and feels very similar to the Callaway Chrome Tour, and I think a little better than the Maxfli Tour. They also have the Extreme Tour X for the faster swing speeds. I will update after a few more rounds.

What is the consensus on the chrome tour line? Thought they would be more popular, but I don’t know anyone who plays them.

I switched to the Chrome Tour X from Pro V1x. Not because of anything really wrong with the Pro V1x but I felt that I got a touch more spin with my short game with the CTX. They feel very similar with all of my shots. Durability is awesome. I can play 36 holes with the same ball, no problem.

I prefer the drop and stop of the Pro V1x and Chrome Tour X - feel like I get a tad too much roll out on the Pro V1 - never played the regular Chrome Tour because I know it's designed to be close to the same as the Pro V1.

I know you can get alignment aids on the Titleist balls but the triple track alignment aid on the Cally ball really helps with my putting so it's an added bonus that doesn't cost any more to have on the ball. Another check in their column. I'd play either of those two balls in a heartbeat. Have no issues with either but I prefer the Cally by just a small margin. They really stepped up with this ball to compete with Titleist.

Currently playing the original PXG Extreme. I like them, but they are "clicky."
Interested to see what you think of the new ones.

I have a slow swing speed (low 100's) and I'm a cheap bastard.

I was gifted 4 dozen PXG balls, so I am using them up.
The Vice Pro deals at SAMs are too good to pass on.
The 4 dozen Maxfli Tour balls for $110 is also on my play list.

I will say that I found a Maxfli SoftFli on the course and it was "butter" off the iron face compared to the PXG. I am not a good person to rely on for ball choice. I don't have great distance off the tee (220ish carry) and don't draw a ball back on the green. Gaining 5 yards of distance doesn't help me with my inconsistent swing. The three balls I mentioned all stop similarly on the green, depending on contact, within 1-3 feet.

That is not a slow swing speed.

It’s moderate.

I know slow, and 100mph is not slow.

If you are only getting 220, a pro may be able to help you get a good deal more out of your driver with just some setup adjustments.

100mph driver swing should be 240-250 for most people.
BRB, looking up swing speed chart
LINK

Chart says 235 carry at 100mph.

Played the Maxfli Tour X in a few tournaments recently. I prefer it to the Maxfli Tour. They are a little longer and feel similar to a ProV1X, which I prefer to the ProV1. It seemed to be a spinnier ball than the Tour.

This is the ball that mygolfspy raved about last year, and I can see why. Great value.
