I wasn't able to head that way Saturday afternoon... 4am wake up on my day off Sunday just didn't seem like the best idea. Sorry I missed it.

They were aggravated that more people didnt call and sign up which I can understand but dont tell the people paying to play your course "I should charge you more to play" because you're mad.

Dont have to worry about me playing there again. Its Atchafalaya or New Orleans for me.

I play in a tournament once a month at a different course and never have I been asked to pay in advance. Including latour. But that many no shows is unacceptable. Not mahootneys fault but in the future I suggest just blocking tee times and making it casual.

I can understand them being upset, having been told there were 20+ committed to play (though only a handful actually called them to confirm). I didn't hear them say anything about paying the full $75 but I could tell they were a little upset.

Mahootney made a hell of an effort to make this work, he can't be blamed for anything. As Art said, next time wherever it is just get a block of tee times. Still hard to do when so many don't show up though.
