$450 would be great, but I think it will be about 550-600 and the lesser version will be around $450. November 22nd is as good of a prediction as any. I think maybe November 17th.

I think it'll come in at $499 or higher. I feel like Sony and Microsoft are waiting to see what the other does with price which is telling me it won't be 400

$450. is a good guess if they want to under cut Sony but I'm going with $499.00 Series X...$349.00 Series S
I'm interested if the will continue their All Access program. I think $30.00 per month for two years for Series X and Game Pass would be reasonable. Its currently 25.00 for Xbox One X and Games Pass with option to upgrade to Series X but they have not finalized the upgrade cost.
Just for shits PS5 $499.00 PS5 Digital $399.00

I just don't see it.
These companies make their money off the games, services, etc... Not the hardware. Higher price = Fewer devices in homes = fewer people spending money on games and services.
If you think about it, that plays to Microsoft who seems to be more turning their focus to getting their services on to as many devices as possible.

Very true. X1 and PS4 rolled into last gen on equal ground. The $499 (Kinect equipped) X1 was slaughtered by the $399 PS4. That was a huge cog that started the playstation domination this last go.
$499 is the digestible number in 2020 probably, but you are not going to see $599 or $699.
Money is made on the backend with recurring fees.
Personally looking forward to upgrading to a 4k projector for the Series X and spending hours in flight simulator.
