The only good thing i liked about the new xbox is that it doesnt require an internet connection to play.
I obviously missed this, but where was it confirmed?

I will flip if it goes to 70 or so.
I wish they would go all digital or at least have the digital option and lower the game prices if you purchase that way.
I have yet to pay full price for a game on PC because of digital distribution.

Yeah, if console game prices go up or stay the same after eliminating used game markets - I'm out.

Not bad considering the Xbox could be around $500. I'm hoping less though.

even if they did this they would make you buy it from them and still charge you out the arse
ETA:
even though it would help the companies out a ton with overhead and holding of inventory

Okay so I saw a lot of stuff I liked and a lot that perturbed me.
Pros:
I personally like the all in One system
Specs didn't seem too far a drop off from PS4
Isn't always connected(but what do I care because I am)
Cons:
Mandatory Downloading/installation of games ... DO.NOT.WANT.
No used game market (though this is subject to change possibly)
Weird EA partnership
I am looking forward to E3 to see what else comes out on these ... as right now I'm planning on getting this.

$560. high end parts, blu ray included. I could probably shave another $60 or so off the price but i dont know where the new AMD APUs will be priced at.
remember that Microsoft is going to lose money up front on every machine.
I bet it won't be more than $449, and $399 would not surprise me at all.

Probably not.
I guarantee you they can make rental versions of games though. IF they choose to.

(Update: Microsoft called Wired after this story was originally published to say that the company did have a plan for used games, and that further details were forthcoming.)
From page 39 of this thread.

If they really want to make money they would offer this and as Stout suggested promote the Digital copies at lower price points ... MS would absolutely make a killing if the went this route.

So Kinect is required, and you have to pay a fee for used games?
