doesn't matter. games will still be made to cater to the lowest performance (xbox1) and the highest performance (pc) will suffer because of it.

I guess I never really noticed a huge difference between the two. I guess a controller is a controller to me.

Not even that. Just the raw deal Sony got with Treyarch with BLOPS 2.............that lag was awful, and for me who is used to XBL, pretty unplayable.
I guess chat suffers from it as well, because that's never been good either.

With all this entertainment nonsense Xbox is pushing, I'm probably just going to keep the 360 and get the PS4.
Haven't had a PS since the second one and do miss the exclusives.

Obviously they can. At this point they are behind Xbox though and that's hard for even the biggest fanboi to argue.
Xbox upping to 300K servers will only widen the gap unless PS does something.

if the playstation controller was halfway decent Id agree with you. but its just trash IMO
Im not an anti PS guy. Really the only reason i go Xbox is Halo and controller

For the most part in terms of more memory means bigger open worlds like on PC and the Xbox going to all dedicated servers will allow things like 128 man matches on BF4 like BF3 has on PC. It would also mean that Minecraft could move to a virtually unlimited world like on PC vs the current block limit it has on the 360 but the graphics on both consoles will still behind PCs. That's expected though or else you would have consoles that cost $1000 retail.

I like the PS controller alright, but for certain games. Don't like it for shooters, but that's mainly been because the analog sticks were concave down and my thumbs would constantly slip off. Looks like they addressed that.

This gen they are behind the xbox in term of online and no one can or is arguing differently.
ETA:
The ball is definitely in Sony's court as far as PS4 PSN goes.

There were rumors that MS was very behind on game and console development. I think this only leads credence to this. LINK
Not too unexpected. After seeing motion demos fail on stage, it's too risky to not have it staged.
ETA: I don't think the article may be 100% accurate. It just looks off. After seeing Peter Moore fail live on stage playing a demo (and seeing past staged Kinect demos), it's perfectly understandable.
