I really wish W3 had a trace-your-path thing like BOTW did. I just finished another play through and discovered two new quests/events.
SPOILERS FOR TWO MINOR SIDE QUESTS
Remember that guy at the Vagelbud’s party who was a dick to Triss? You can find him later tied to a stake about to be burned to death. He was begging for help. Not thinking anything would happen, I tried Aard and it put out the fire. All thr witch hunters turned hostile. Killed them and sent the guy to meet up with Triss to be evacuated with the rest of the mages. Somehow I never crossed his path to rescue him before.
After arriving in Skellige, on my way to the funeral, I noticed a path near the first merchant stand you come across on the road. I followed it and there was an underground tomb with a quest to clear out wraiths. Pretty big tomb, too. How I never went down that path before is amazing to me.

it just feels way more witchery to actually be using oils/decoctions to prepare for fights
Which reminds me I also use the mod that auto applies oil to your weapons when a fight starts.

I don't remember the names of the mods I use, but they were all on the first page of most popular on nexus mods.
Autoloot
Inventory over 9000
Improved map with all quest objectives
Fast travel from anywhere
Whatever the top graphics mod was
The 1st 4 improve convenience tremendously.

How do I enable all these mods?

You have to play on PC. Download vortex from nexus mods website, set it up for witcher 3, download mods from nexus mods website (choose option to download via nexus mod manager), and run the game from vortex.

The graphics mod was separate from vortex and I just had to run 3 different executables to install it. I also had to download a mod that manages and resolves scripts because I was getting an error. That mod fixed it first try.

Just those first 2 would be so nice on xbone.
I fired this up last night and forgot I was in the middle of a replay, doing the oxenford drunk contract. I got wrecked

I don't remember how I do the mods. I think every time it is a pain in the arse because i start out with Nexus and it doesn't work. I think I use a witcher script manager and I think I use a standalone witcher mod manager. Then everything works although some of the mods no longer work because they aren't updated since the last patch.

The faster indestructible boat is a must. I don't see that as cheating. Solid needed quality of life.

Just finished Blood and Wine. I completed the main game, both DLCs and all side quest associated with them. I freaking started playing the game in August
The fairytale world in B&W was awesome and hilarious. Vicious 3 little pigs and the dope slinging little girl were a hoot.
