I bought my family a switch. I didn't buy any games yet because I'm hoping to get some discounted prices or a buy 1 get 50% off deal. I know Nintendo doesn't usually provide many discounts, but just waiting it out. Otherwise, I will just order some on prime.

Yeah, here’s probably no need to wait on any of the Nintendo 1st party games. Those seem like they rarely ever drop in price.

Hope you get lucky but Nintendo games are notorious for never dropping prices.

And target had buy 2/get 1 free (although I couldn't add Splatoon to my haul with that deal. i'm guessing most nintendo games wouldn't work with it) last week. I can't imagine too many deals better than that one, especially with new games.

The Target deal didn't include any Switch games.

Sad I missed the Toys R Us deal.

I think Nintendo released their Black Friday offerings last week. All they had was a blue/red switch preloaded with Mario Odyssey with a carrying case ($380) and a Zelda game that includes a map and 100-page guide ($60). Neither were any cheaper than it would be to buy the normal versions, but I'm probably still going to hold off and get the Zelda Black Friday version for the extras.

Check out this website Black Friday ads. You can look for certain items or look at each store. They post ads as the website receives them.

I've seen ads for PS4 and xbox already. Nothing for Switch yet.

Switch won't have sales, bust bet was the Toys R Us sale last week and hopefully when Best Buy does a B2G1 it includes Switch games (it wont).

The system itself will not be on sale this year.

While Nintendo games don't go on sale often, you will find some Black Friday deals. Not much this year since it's so new. Next year, you'll be able to get a lot of good deals (I got Smash Wii U and MK for <$30 a year later on BF).
