This was mine:

I didn't want to give in but I had to have it as a kid to find everything.

I don't know why younger me wanted Earthbound so badly, but I feel like I was one of the first to buy Earthbound over in the US

This was my second one.

I had to know EVERY finishing move.

Ocarina of Time

Best strategy guide of all time is the Red Blue Yellow Pokemon guide though.

I have that guide in my line of sight right now as I type this. As well as Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced.

One of Pokemon red, yellow, or blue

I feel like it was yellow but can't remember for sure, whichever one I had first

Also

Loved those games. Replayed FFVII recently and it was good as I remembered.

Damn, I could have used the Link to the Past one

I'm trying to recall if I ever had any guides myself. Oh yeah, I still have it too...The Dig for the PC. Can't find a pic of the guide though!

Great thread btw

The earliest I can remember was Zelda OoT. I played LttP for years without a guide.

If you didn't have a Prima guide then you're a pleb.

That Pokemon one brings back so many freaking memories.

Link to the Past was my first one was well.
