what is your favorite PS1 RPG ?

my personal favorite is brave fencer musashi. Even though it's kiddy I still got some of the most enjoyment playing that game. FF7 is great but I would rank final fantasy tactics above it. I didn't play 7 right when it came out and really didn't get the experience that many others got when it was innovative for its time period.

The only PlayStation I've ever owned was the PS1. Ape Escape, some wrestling game and Metal Gear Solid was all I ever played as a kid.

Try Xenogears. It's a great Squaresoft RPG.
Legend of Mana is a good one of you want a more light-hearted game.
I started playing Chrono Cross a few months back and like it a lot. I never played back when it came out.
