I told myself I didn't need this game a few months ago after running into a string of toxic games. A few friends kept nagging me to come back and play some.. here we are.. playing 3-4 matches a day again.

Every time I try to play this, I get to the boat stuff and it bogs down for me. I don't like it at all. I love the setting, music, and so far the story, but I'd love to able to skip any boat sections........which seems insane with a game about pirates.

A while back I sat down and did a full list and then tournament-style bracket for all of my favorite games. It needs to be updated but this was my top 10.
1. Metroid Prime
2. The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time
3. Portal 2
4. Starflight
5. Journey
6. Half-Life 2
7. Shadow of the Colossus
8. Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence
9. The Last of Us
10. Super Mario World
This was based on how I remembered feeling about those games when I first played them, not how they might hold up if I were to revisit them all today.

I’m surprised it took until page 2 for Last of Us to pop up. Gameplay may not have been the best but I’ve never had a story emotionally affect me like that before.
