How would you feel if a 40 year old man was texting your 17 year old daughter?

that this man has issues, is a creeper, and would have a long talk with him.

and since i have a few connections to police, run every check i can on him.

then tell daughter no, she hates me, yadda yadda, who knows.

He said why he kept on deleting, editing, and re-editing the tweet that you previously put a picture of. It was to highlight the word minor to hopefully bait journalists into focusing on it, which they did relentlessly. That was a nice, very meaty, shiny, baited hook that you bit onto as well. You obviously STILL haven't watched any clips of what doc actually said today.

LOL if you truly believe this. He tried to edit it out and got caught. He only edited it out and then back in after called out about it. He was trying to practice CYA and got caught so he comes up with the lie of trying to highlight it. Only an idiot would believe that.

He's not some genius playing the long game. He's an idiot who has been caught cheating on his wife and even after that, he tried to cheat again but this time it was having inappropriate messages with a minor.

He could end all speculation by releasing the chat logs but tried to downplay doing so on his stream.

Its pretty clear he knows he did something wrong. No one knows how severe it is without the chat logs but the fact that he even put himself in that situation after he was already caught cheating makes me less likely to give him the benefit of the doubt. Especially with his refusal to release the chat logs.

I’m always one who likes to get the whole story before I jump to conclusions and make statements.

Those who jump the gun on Twitter and even in this thread I view as emotional pussies.

Like what’s so wrong with saying…”I’m not going to pick a side because I don’t know the whole story or know all the information.”

A perfect example is the Covid vaccine. Why am I the bad guy because I didn’t want to jump the gun on getting this injection without more understanding and knowledge of the situation. Many people look like fools because they let their emotions override their logic.

To be fair, both of these instances happened in 2017. Twitch only found out about the messages until 2020.

And you’re still under the assumption that he was trying to hook up with this person. How can that be when none of the messages, according to Doc, was not sexual in nature?

I don't think most people besides the most obvious really jumped the gun too much. He was messaging someone under 18 with some type of inappropriate messages. Wherever this person was at, the age of consent isn't 18.

Not exactly the best look, especially since he isn't dropping the messages or at least suing the living hell out of Cody. Suing Cody is what you have to do if you want some legitimacy. His tweet deserves it if it is a lie.

Dr Disrespect doesn't want to open it all up to discovery. Then he couldn't avoid releasing the chat logs

Oh well that makes it all better.

Then he should release the chat logs if they weren't at all sexual. Why won't he do that and clear the air?

If he is going to sue or is currently in the process of a suit….do you think he’s going to discuss it? Do you think if either of those are going to happen or is happening he would release the messages?

Sure it’s weird based on the current information without the context. Only a few know the whole story. More may eventually come out…maybe positive…maybe negative. This doesn’t impact me regardless and I just don’t feel the need to make claims or make a decision on a situation when I feel there is a possibility that everything isn’t so clear.

I don’t think Doc is the sharpest tool in the shed. His streams are merely a source of entertainment for me. I think the persona that is “doc” is just a cover for the “guy” who plays the role. I 100% believe that Guy Beam is a sore loser and an arrogant whiny baby. Not at all the type of person I would want to be friends with. With all of that said…Im just not ready to call him a pedo groomer yet.

I’m not a lawyer so I don’t know the legal ramifications if he released the messages.

Even if he released his own and left the other person’s out, redacted, etc., I’m not so sure that would be enough for those asking for them.

“Well, what did the other person say?”
“We need the other person’s perspective.”

I got the impression that Doc doesn’t even know who the other person is. It could’ve been a viewer/follower/subscriber of his that doesn’t stream on Twitch.

He actually apologized to the user. Said something like, “if you thought our conversations were inappropriate, I apologize.”

i get it. you like being controversial. that's fine.

i do find it "wild" that everyone is willing to believe a random Tweet from an ex-Twitch employee and not hear the other side from someone that was directly involved.

"not sexual in nature" =/= "pedophile"

You’re willing to turn a blind eye to a 40 year old texting a 17 year old.

And I’m the one being controversial?

I honestly think Guy Beahm just needs to drop the “Dr. Disrespect” character at this point. Just come out and stream as your normal self… even though that character is basically that. The character has run its course and he’s already fricked up twice with cheating on his wife and and now this. Start fresh and drop the character that everyone relates to being a piece of shite.

i said earlier that i was 50/50.

according to the Doc, the legal analysis of the messages deteremined that the messages were not sexual in nature. that does not constitute as pedophilia.

is it weird? sure. i can admit that. but going to the extreme judgement that most are, like you, isn't fair based on the story that Doc put out yesterday. especially if you didn't watch it.

nickmercs finally watched the video this morning. his opinion didn't change but he's not as extreme about it since he's informed of the entire situation which is fine and i respect.

if the messages ever come out and they're what the Doc says they are, i can see the whole bunch of them backtracking. but we'll never now at least for now. if there's one thing Doc loves, it's controversy. he can milk this for a while.

at 13:50, the Doc says, "I have no way of knowing if the user thought our exchange of whispers and messages were inappropriate. If they were, then I apologize."
