What other games could they possibly use to do this again?
Final Fantasy VII crossed my mind...that'd be interesting.

I'd pay money to watch them fight the weapons.

I think the timed battles would cause this to not work. Maybe something like Chrono Trigger or the older SNES FF.
ETA: The democracy vs anarchy crap have made this a bigger cluster frick IMO. I knew the maze would be the end.

What is this anarchy/democracy stuff? To me it looks like they're trying to take away focus from people spamming the same button to get through the game easier. I have no idea though

I think that's the theory, but it in reality they are trying to vote on either being total anarchy or democracy where you vote on the next action. The voting on the next action is great except that according to reddit the delay caused a serious problem with the voting and the action happening in the game. Now they are just voting on whether to keep the old system "anarchy" or try democracy again, while some people are still trying to give game commands. It's been a slow day at work.

The entire point of this is to watch chaos ensue as 70k+ people try to play one game collectively. If you start interfering too much to reduce the chaos, this whole thing kind of loses its original reason for existence.
I'm all for the democracy type play when the community has been going at the same task for 24+ hours to no avail (even then I dunno)
Things like the Safari Zone must have intervention, because otherwise it would be impossible to continue the game and thus this whole thing loses its luster.
You have to find a balance between entertaining chaos and the point where that chaos causes this to no longer be entertaining (which is it's original intended purpose to begin with)

The problem is there are a ton of people on there just spamming start and trying to use DIG to ruin it.
Way too many reddit trolls

They actually chose to go down and unlock the lift. So they are good if they lose.
