Are these ads playing in live tv? Radio?<—-seriously question cause I have no idea. Or are they just on the platform that everyone knows who the most famous person on that platform already is?

Which would be the same platform that pays you based on your hardwork? That pays ninja based on his?

I also hate ninja.

Not sure where you’re getting the sour grapes from. I don’t think anyone blames ninja. Twitch is the problem.

What did twitch do wrong? they want people to watch their event. they are advertising the person who will get them the largest viewership. where's the issue? there is no fairness when money is involved

I don’t understand why ninja is that popular. His personality is not that great

It's Ninja's event...not Twitch's, right?

Twitch isn't gaining viewers if those viewers were already on twitch watching someone else.

Not necessarily. Few streamers that I've come across have ads that support the streamers.

Each ad says at the top who the ad supports. Most of the time it supports Twitch.

So what about all the new people that ninja brought to twitch...should every streamer not be thankful for potential viewership because of him?

Yin...yang.

Probably wasn’t the best way to word it but twitch the platform that allows you to get paid. I mean they can always go to Mixr...not sure the name carries the same weight though.

I get why people are mad, but at the end of the day...as a streamer and viewer.

I don’t like ninja.

I don’t like ninjas content.

I don’t like the game ninja plays.

The ads won’t change that. The ads won’t bring me to his channel on NYE.

I feel like most viewers feel the same way.

Very few people are hating on Ninja, the issue is Twitch.

Twitch streamers are very much competitors in many ways. People don't really watch two streams at once.

Streamers are fine with ads being played on their stream, but not ads for their damn competitors.

While not a perfect analogy, if you rented space from a landlord to run your burger shop, you wouldn't want your landlord walking into your restaurant and announcing that the pizza joint he owns down the street is running an awesome deal.

Fortnite was blowing up before Ninja became a thing.

He's probably brought some people into it now, but the Fortnite boom insanity was happening with or without him.

Jesus, one of these stupid comments. You invest into a platform. The creators make the platform, not Twitch. Its a partnership. Twitch is breaking that partnership.

I don’t give a shite if my 36 subs see Twitch using their platform to promote their biggest earner.

It’s also likely those bigger streamers causing a fuss have got more exposure due to this....so technically ninja helped them get exposure......

Oh for sure, drama sells.

I don’t get the big streamers and the people who watch them. It isn’t fun to me, but to each their own I guess.

36 subs huh? Impressive. I should get your channel info. We can work together and network and grow together. Promise I won’t fuss if my viewers helped you grow.

I only stream MLB the show and don’t facecam lmao. All of my subs are friends or other good players.

That community is shockingly decent In terms of twitch and hosting and sharing audiences. If you’re any good it isn’t hard to qualify for a sub button
