Yeah I got it. It was a bundle so I still paid over $800 for it.

I’m just glad I got in the GameStop one you posted. And was surprised I was able to go back in after and still add more to my cart.

You're probably going to need to plan to be home. I tried to have it redirected to a Fed Ex location to pick up when I could get there, but Sony doesn't allow you to have the package sent to a Fed Ex counter. They required a signature, too, so they left the "we tried to deliver, but you weren't home" sticky on the door the first day.

No worries there. I've worked from home since the mandatory shut down last year.

Then the only other advice I have is that it might help if you have someone waiting with you so there's always someone waiting to jump at the door. Fed Ex drivers appear to know exactly when you are taking a crap so they can show up only in that short window. Then they lightly scratch on the door once, whisper "Fed Ex", and then run away at breakneck speed if you don't open the door within a half second.
At least that's how they operate where I live.

Don't have an extra person here but I'll setup my iPad with my ring video running. I already have my 7 year old beside himself with excitement so missing the delivery would be very bad.

Just wait. Lots of new games they just announced coming are exclusive for ps5. I expect them to launch much more consoles because of that alone.

The more I ask around and look to see who has the consoles for scalping the more I’ve come to theorize that the consoles are being scooped up by Target, Walmart, etc employees right at release as they know ahead of time (and their floor managers are letting them do it)

I got selected for the Playstation direct this week and got one. Had free express delivery, but it has been sitting at the Fed Ex in Baton Rouge since Thursday. Was hoping to dive in this weekend. bullshite. Also sucks because I had someone home all last week, this coming week it wont be anyone here and wont have anyone to sign. FedEx is a shite show right now.

I'm in the same boat. My charging station is finally out for delivery today. My PS5 and extra controller are still delayed with no delivery date.
