Rofl blitzed I didn’t know it was in the game. When the dlc came out I just got out and had fun now I’m doing a full run and tried it and nearly had a heart attack.
You can actually do a constant upskirt her Santa outfit. The camera kick is a nod to 2B in nier

I wish they wouldve given you the option to make the nier face cover black like 2b or white like 9s. 2as crossover outfit looks the best imo looks like black latex lol

Yeah I’m kinda pissed they didn’t release the demo publicly lol. The combat is going to be the make or break for many I think. The story seems universally a 10/10 from all that’s been seen but the combat has been described to me as playing persona and Elden ring at the same time. Kinda an Arpg and Jrpg simultaneously I think it sounds amazing but I know some won’t like it and they should be allowed to test it

It’s probably the most similar thing to nier automata I’ve ever seen in themes, tone, art, etc. it doesn’t execute as well at any of these imo but that is a very high bar.
Its combat is miles and miles ahead of nier. It’s more of a character action game with minimal combos like 10 normal then parry and perfect dodge combos mixed with dark souls style estus healing and bon fire etc

Right on. Sounds fun. Weird story like Nier? I got to the end of the first playthrough, discovered I'd have to do it all again, and quit.

Its story is like is very very very obviously a take on the creation myth with your pc named eve and partner named adom living in a city called xion, mix that with all of niars existentialism and niars philisophics and thats the story. Its more than sufficient but it is no nier. The fighting is the draw here, and dress up barbie
btw you have to play nier like 4-5 times lol. Really only run 2 is annoying though since youre just mirroring the same run you just did as 2b
Also regarding Clair; saw someone I know got 10 hours with the game tweet today the turn based combat is just as snappy as persona 5 which is like the best in that arena.
As far as combat goes the two things I keep hearing the most is this game can be brutal on normal difficulty, and has a hard mode, and being familiar with the mechanics of persona games will help the most in this one

It's not quite the same thing though. I understand that it's unorthodox, but it does go fairly quickly and you learn a lot of new things getting Ending B.

Yeah C run is almost a completely different game and totally reframes everything. I feel bad for people who get burnt out on B. It’s not even that long. Likely having to do the mid hacking mini game 2000000 times

Not necessarily, remember the game allowed you to buy achievements in game, so you could have purchased it (though I don't know why you would have ..)
