Fortunately it takes days to complete to where not everything can be spoiled. I honestly don't really care since I'm still weeks away from it, to where I'll give in and find out the plot details. Will stay away from the boss fights and what not though.

it's hard to keep away from it but part of the experience is going through a game knowing none of the spoilers IMO

I know you consider this thread kinda figgy, but if you can get in to single player games, you should give this one a try. All the preliminary reviews are talking like this is one of the greatest games in a long time.

My BIL told me to try out the first one. I'm just not into superhero games...except the X-Men arcade and TMNT arcade games. Those things were quarter-eaters back in the day.

I know you won't admit it.. but you should try arkham asylum and / or arkham city when it comes out. They really are good games. Oh yeah, completely excited that video game heaven (skyrim, Batman, assassin's creed, battlefield and mw3) starts in 5 days!

I'm not in to comics or really super heroes on ANY level. And I've rarely touched their games, but my friend let me borrow it once and I was just blown away.
If you can borrow it from someone, give it a try. GOTY edition is like $30, regular $20.
Lately I've been tempted to perhaps get MW3 for the PS3. I'm super curious to play with you guys, even if I probably won't love the game

Honestly, that's understandable. Best-em ups aren't for everyone. I didn't think I would like the first, actually didn't even buy it, just kinda given to me, ended up liking it, but I was surprised.

I would be interested in maybe playin some o' that online. I have yet to play anything online with anyone from TD.

Dev, AJF, and Lew I know for certain are getting it. They were primarily MW2 from what I saw, so I'm sure even if they do play BF3, they'll get MW3 as well.
ETA: I'm doing BF3 on PC.
ETAA: Fox and Finch are the only other PS3'rs that I know about in this thread. I don't think Fox does FPS's, and I have no clue where Finch is on that.

I seriously need to get a ps3, tired of missing out. Saw the infamous 2 ps3 pack the other day in best buy, was very tempted to get it.

I just have the thing and don't play a flipping thing on it. Last game I bought for it was L.A. Noire, and that got traded in a while ago.
