Tons of new Kingdom Hearts III Info

Embargo dropped on a Kingdom Hearts 3 event. Tons of gameplay, screenshots, and info dropped. Release date is being announced next week.

If you're going to watch anything, I recommend the Toy Story one first. Game looks great.

Wow, that looks bad arse. The Toy Story tie in at the end to wreck it ralph was cool too!

I still need to play through the collection.
I tried to play Days By Sleep, got like halfway through the story with the first character, found out you apparently have to go through the story three times, once with each character and said frick it after My electricity went out after 30 attempts to beat Hook and doing so, but didn’t get to save.
God.

It's looking very impressive. I guess I need to push up my playing of the side games. I've only beaten KH1, KH2, and Chain of Memories.

Is the 2nd one much better than the first? Could I skip the first one? I played the first one for a while but didn't get pulled in as much as I thought I would.

I liked some of the worlds from the first one better, but from a gameplay perspective, the 2nd game is miles ahead of the first.

what do yall think about dream drop distance? I'm about to play it. I love 1 and 2 but I haven't played the others cuz I'm not a fan of the card battling.

It’s one was harder and more simple. Also way less linear in the main story. Second one was easier with more complex combat and more linear

A few observations:
-I hope I can play this and understand the plot without having had played all the in between games. The only ones I've played are 1, 2 and Chain of Memories.
-The Toy Story world looks phenomenal. By the way, did I see a Gigas reference there? What the frick?
-What are those robo things on Sora's arms?

If you have a PS4 buy the 1.5+2.5 collection & the 2.8 collection and play those. Then any game you didnt play at that point just watch the cut scenes/read the plot lines

I believe the collection comes with all of the games and also all of the cutscenes from the Game Boy games.

That is what I mostly hear. I played the first one a good bit but it just fell stale for me. Maybe it didn't age well? I'm not sure. I will give the 2nd one a try when I get a chance because I really am a big Disney person.

If you want catch up, every single Kingdom Hearts game is on PS4 in some way between two collections. Only other ones I'd encourage are Birth by Sleep and Dream, Drop, Distance as they're a bit more important on the plot.
