I couldn’t finish the first one. I think I got about 2/3 through. Gameplay was fine, but turning Laura into a murder hobo caused an annoying amount of ludonarrative dissonance for me. I probably could have pushed through that, but the incessant camera sway/shake that couldn’t be turned off gave me a headache after about 20m and would make me nauseated if I pushed past about 45m.

So I read the rest of the plot summary online then moved to the second game, which, while not perfect, was better than the first in basically every way. Played through it pretty consistently all the way through the end.

Third game is a mixed bag. It’s really quite good in parts, but the “open world” bits tend to drag, and I say that as someone who loves open world games. One day I just stopped playing and haven’t picked it back up. But, it’s still installed, as I do intend to finish it. Other games just keep getting in the way

The second is supposed the be the best of the trilogy with the third, while still being solid, is widely considered as the weakest of them. They took the playbook from uncharted and ran with it.

Ive only played the first but enjoyed it for the most part. I have the sequels in my library but haven't gotten around to those yet.

For PC players reading this, the trilogy is almost always free or on sale for just a few bucks somewhere.

I was ready for the 3rd to be over. Too many chores. Overall, I liked all 3 but a 4th installment would need to be tighter with fewer Ubisoft chore lists.

Idk i cant speak for 3 but I dig the set up they have in 2 going on I just finished the second chapter likely where you are chased by the chopper and fall into the river. You csn really do as much or little of most of the off the beat stuff as you want but doing more will make the game easier.

The tombs are way better in 2 than 1 as well.
