Tips for Playing FPS on bigger tv's

I just moved back home for the summer and I setup my xbox on the big screen vizio in my basement and ever since I started playing like COD on it I've jsut been getting my arse handed to me, everything seems so much slower. Is that something I'm just gonna have to get use to or are their settings I can play with to help?

yep. if you go to a bigger tv, your sticks are going to have to move relatively farther to move your character the same amount vs your old smaller tv. increasing the sensitivity will allow more movement of the character per stick movement

Make sure that if you have a 120 HZ TV that you turn it to 60Hz (There may be a game setting prebuilt into your TV.)
There is a pretty decent delay from controller to screen if you do not.

I was told that there is a millisecond delay from the controller to the game when you go to a larger screen, high def, but it would only affect MLG players. I'm no where close to being a pro, but when I made the switch playing COD4, there was a definite change and I felt like I just couldn't hit anything anymore.

I play on a big arse TV. I blame this for why I suck at FPSs

I don't notice any difference between my 40 inch and projector when playing

I play on a 42 inch tv, and I generally don't have a problem. I'll find myself kinda drifting off looking at other shite sometimes though.

I think the biggest problem is that.
On a smaller TV, you can easily see the entire screen at once but on a large tv, while you can see the whole screen, your focus is not on the entire screen. You see something flash in your peripheral vision and you have to react to it while on a smaller monitor, the reaction should be much quicker.

I find no difference in the controls from my 32" to my 52". However,
That's definitely true. I prefer the big screen. I can see enemies further away easier.
