I recently been in a golf fix lately and re downloaded Rory Mcllroy's PGA Tour and forgot how disappointing it is. It lacks most of the features that made the series great. So I dusted off the ps3 and play TWPGA12 and its night and day with how much better it is. I absolutely love the caddy system and it has the perfect amount of difficulty. I just wish there was more in the career mode to do. Anyone have any better golf games to recommend? I have PC,PS4, and PS3.

It really was so damn good.

ETA: was this the one with the ‘moments’ of whatever where you baisically went H2H or had to recreate crazy moments with your be a pro?

I just remember being stuck on having to beat TW in 18 at Pebble Beach. I think I had to shoot like -16 to finally beat that one.

I use to play it on mobile and it was by far better than any golf game that is currently available. It was the only golf game I had ever played and then once it was no longer available, I have not been able to find one that comes even close to it.

Tiger Woods 07 or 08. The cover is a green tshirt. Thats the GOAT golf game.

1 guy still owes me like 100 bucks from gambling on that game

12 was the best for me strictly because of Augusta National. I loved recreating the historic scenarios there as well. So much fun.

How the hell does changing the main star of the game change so much about the game? Very odd. Thought they would follow the "rinse and repeat" EA knows and loves.

I like 2003 because I actually beat it!

Made a thread on here about beating it too.

Anyone who doesn't agree with this either has never played TGC or doesn't like it because they can't spin their shots 10 yards to the right by pressing a button.

PGA Tour Golf I and II on the Sega Genesis were my all time favorites. I can hear the birds chirping in my head right now and that sweet sound of the ball landing on the green.

They had Hogan, Player, Palmer, Nicklaus, and Justin Timberlake too.

I still play TW 13 on my xbox 360. I still find it entertaining and somewhat difficult on tour mode and the difficulty settings up.

Great game, wish they would remake it.

Cartoonish as it may be, I enjoy Everybody's Golf. I like the various levels of course difficulty...some courses I can shoot -20, while others I'm lucky to make par, lol

I also like that if you're gonna add any flair (spin, draw/fade), you have to do it before completing the swing, not while the ball is in flight.

Still enjoyed playing Tiger Woods with the Augusta National course, tho. Wish I could see a PS4 version of that course...
