...and the COD fanboys arrive.
All I'm saying is the amount of obsession over one game on this board is ridiculous. 80% of all new threads are MW2/BO related. I love discussing BO as much as the next guy but when someone tries and starts a Reach or MOH thread they get bashed from no end.
...basically, I'm done arguing. What turned into a jokey thread about alot of COD threads is now a "defend the greatness of call of duty and bash the hell out of the OP."
Enjoy..and 7 days till Reach.

Duder, what do you expect? The CoD games are the most popular games on current systems. They're, for the most part, of amazing quality. Mechanically, they are superior to almost anything I've played on a PS3 or 360. They're fun for the most part as well.

This is what people say that tried Call of Duty and got their arse handed to them so took it a step down to an easier game.

FWIW, I got my arse handed to me on the regular in BFBC2.

No Bad Company is for people who rule at COD and get tired of the small arse maps and everybody hiding in 2 or 3 good spots on each level. your jus too big of a puss to quit sucking COD's balls

I don't even really consider Call of Duty anything great but I can recognize when one product is superior to another.
So go fist yourself kid.

Call of Duty gets a tad too excessive at times.
I'm glad they're putting on the brakes with the killstreaks just a tad this time around. Well, aside from the RC car looking totally fricking ridiculous.

Small maps are the best. I want carnage!!!!!

I want carnage by dropping a mortar on a sniper in the mountains. By destroying a building full of guys disarming a bomb. Setting up a trail of landmines on a road for happy-go-lucky tanks. By having an epic helicopter duel.

I like gun vs. gun confrontations against player controlled opponents. What you described can be accomplished in single player campaigns.

It's all a matter of opinion. That sniper on the mountain may have spent 5 min getting to that spot. He may think no one sees him and that he's invincible. Then blitzed brings the rain. The guy in the heli may have waited 5 min for it to respawn so he could be the first to get it. The 1 min into the air.....blitzed brings the rain. This brings me joy.
