Just gave up 20 damn hits and 11 runs to the Yankees. Got 4 in today and went 2-2. I'm now complete for week 3. Good thing bc I have a busy week ahead.

Finally..broke my 5 game losing streak! If i could just learn to run the bases properly i would be much better..i had 17 hits and only managed to score 6 runs, lol

Don't feel bad I'm struggling too. I just can't put it together at the plate. I get plenty of hits but can't get the timely ones.

I just took a one run lead into bottom of 9th, bring in closer, first pitch they hit a HR...luckily i still won it in 13 innings..2 game winning streak

After beating Baltimore twice today I had them at a 1-1 tie going into extra innings. That made like my 4th extra inning game I think. They usually end up in 16-18 inning affairs.
I fell apart in the 11th or 12th. Gave up 4 and ended up losing 5-1. I followed that up with a massive beat down by the Yankees.
Weird thing with the Yankees. I've played them 4 times and all 4 time CC Sabathia has started. By game three of the last series he was toast by the 5th. I started to smash him all over before he was pulled.
Today was a new series but I get a watered down Sabathia in game 1. If I had any patience he would have been worn down by the 2nd/3rd, but instead he last till the 5th before I start to rape him again. Of course by this time the score was like 9-0, so it didn't matter that I put up 3.

I'm going to try and get in a few games tomorrow but this week is tough.
I've got Wolfenstein I barely started and Watch Dogs being delivered tomorrow. Hard to find any time to play this but I should at least get a few in this week.

I have conceded that unless I hit a home run, I am not going to score runs. They really should put a baserunning tutorial or minigame or something in the game. Your only chances to practice is when you are needing to know what you are doing. I have read through the controls, but it is incredibly difficult to remember when you need to.

Not like there's a whole lot of new game releases some weeks out of the year will have one and then the whole summer doesn't really have one.

Yes, but you have been in here going on week 3. We are supposed to play a minimum of 6 per week. When you came in I believe the Cardinals were at 3 games. In that time you have played 3 games, all the while not being active in here to let us know why you are busy. Everything indicates you will not be an involved member of the league.
Meanwhile we have guys that have knocked out half the season. It's not fair to them to be held up past what they already will be to wait for someone who doesn't want to keep active.
There are also three people on the waiting list, and I'm sure one or two of those will be very active. I'm not going to let this league fall behind. I'm searching for a solid 12 early.
