Sounds like I missed quests. Yeah, some of the fairies were tranny weird looking. I played nearly all Zelda games from the start in the golden olden days; and it is hard to recall when the tranny art came in and out.
I moan and groan about the return to 2D RPG's after the tease of the 3D graphics of $60 games. Also games seem to have more childish appeal.
The characters in DQ are all great with a gay guy that I love---- but not the tranny drag queen push.

I haven't played a Dragon Quest game to completion since the PS1, I'm afraid. Probably need to pick those up again.

Level 3 Darknut took him out.
FYI, there’s a guy that does trainings in Kakariko Village. He will give you scrolls that will slow down the blue bar when you transform

The Lynel is now my go-to summon for battle. CA was totally right.

There is one battle I remember the razor twisting spinning plant and either darknut or Lynel beating a once hard boss with ease. The spinning plant can spawn 3 times.
Also creatures that blow on small platforms get owned by flame witch .

I basically walk around with a Fire Wizzrobe as my body guard.

As I am getting closer to the end of this game, I have to say that the rewards for most of the side quests are pretty disappointing. I basically have a grocery store of food I am walking around with, and I keep getting rewarded with more food.
It's just a pain in the arse to make smoothies. So, it's not really worth it to spend the time making them. There should really be a feature to make multiple smoothies at once.
I am loving the game. The new features are a lot of fun to play around with, but, if they were taking suggestions, it would be to revamp the entire food aspect of this game.

It's certainly not as robust as BOTW/TOTK's cooking mechanic, and doesn't even follow some of the same logic. It should be Monster Part + Food Item = Elixir

SPOILERS for the final boss fight
I beat Null yesterday. I hate that my last few posts have been to complain about things because I really like this game, but the final fight was lame. I get this was all leading up to Zelda and Link working together, but the fight was really boring considering Zelda couldn't fight. I was just moving around avoiding danger while spawning the mace fighters. Maybe there were some times I could have used Tri to grab things that would have sped things up, but it wasn't super apparent to me.

Agreed. Laying in the Zelda bed real quick is odd but nice. The red and blue potions are all you need for the bosses.
I enjoyed the game but also agree with whoever said that hoping on trees exploring was done, they needed more caves.
Certain bosses I found a pattern for. a remake zelda RPG is coming 14 Nov?

The old school soundtrack/music was appreciated by me.
Overall the weird things like useless smoothies babify the games to appeal to kids.. In a day and age that 2 year olds get ipads for thousands they returned to 2D cartoonish for da money and marketing.

They need A Link Between Worlds port onto the Switch/S2

Finished the main quest/fight vs Null.
I have about half a dozen echoes left to discover. The Deku Tree isn't very specific in telling you where the remaining ones are, just the zone.
The Fairy Bell will alert you, even if the might stones available are a reward from a quest, like the Acorn guy.

The credits rolled for me after beating the last boss. I can return?
Posted on 10/19/24 at 10:55 am to cajunangelle
Yes, there will be a star by your save file and a few new utilities will open to assist in tracking down any remaining echoes.
Note - Zelda devs has said they never want to encourage hardcore completionists, so it's my understanding that there's no reward for getting all 126 echoes or however many there are.

Found the last two Echoes I was missing - Moa (which is awesome, btw) and the Beamio, which I was so busy avoiding in the Faron Temple that I totally forgot to try and kill while I was there.

Meh, i'm about 1/2 way through and i don't get it. I feel like they added a ton of content and grueling slow animations just to make the game longer. Exploring the overworld map is so boring and slow, since the combat is summoning a creature. One of the worst in the series i think. The overworld map is fantastic, but just boring.
