Mipha's Grace has saved my balls more times than I can count, so I'll still get that first.

Is that confirmed or speculation?

I don't see why it wouldn't be. The only other thing I could see it being is enemies deal double damage across the board. Which would be ridiculous.

I don't care how good the player is, he's going to frick up at least once and be killed. It would take a good year for someone to complete the main quest (not to mention the side quests) without dying once.

Not insurmountable

Miphas grace + fairies + run the frick away when you're outmatched + focus on armor and do enough shrines but not all

Beat my first lynel yesterday at hyrule castle Took a lot of Stasis+ and some patience. Probably helped that it was a confined space and he never shot any arrows

Guess I can't speak to the whole game even though currently seating at around 130hrs. Haven't made it to Hyrule castle yet. But honestly the only challenge are the Lynels. Everything else seems pretty damn easy.

If they make it dark souls style to where the action doesn't stop when you pause the game, that would change things significantly in difficulty.

Oh yes it would. Because a ton of times I paused to eat food to heart back up.

It's not terribly difficult but to start it is. Still though, the moment i short the game on attention, I die or come really close. If you're dialed in and have decent armor/weapons then it's not bone crushing one bit. But permanent death, meaning just one...that's a hard task.

One stupid thing falling on you and the whole game is over. One shitty run at a boss or lynel and you're done. That's challenging

I'm still trying to get over the fact that there are 900 korok seeds. I have found just a tad over 20 so far. I have way more shrines.

After doing some stuff on the northeast side of the map I figured I would go to the southern part of the map and start exploring. Still sitting on two divine beasts and just exploring. May try to go after one of the other beasts this weekend.

I've started to utilize my stasis more when fighting enemies. Also tried to start riding horses more.

Same. I'm having a hard time finding ones that aren't obvious. I think I'm right around 100 found, but I've been doing almost nothing but exploring the past three days.

Does the game get harder as you level up (heart/meter up)

If you don't do the main quests, you're gonna fail pretty hard. Can't speak for the amount of times Mipha's Grace has saved my arse from a bad fall from low stamina. Or getting wrecked by a lynel.

I'm not sure if this is true or not, but it's been mentioned that the enemies get tougher as you progress through the game based on hearts, etc. It might just be that they're tougher the further you are away from the starting area.
