I was wondering where the frick you were.

Edge of duality is durable as frick and I found a second one

My advice. They put them in the game to use them. Don't save them use them unless they're high attack in which case save them for a lynel or boss or major test of strength

Anyone have the barbarian armor? I love it. The idea of clothing sets is new to Zelda but having link look like that and I equip him with lynel weaponry or moblin weaponry is just awesome

Ancient arrow one hit guardian takedowns are awesome but I love how the master sword glows when one is near so I usually use that

1) Should I be saving things like the Thunderblade and Great Frostblade for special purposes?
2) Are there more of those in the game if not?
I've mostly given up on saving weapons for specific fights. I might save one or 2 max, but nothing beyond that. It has really become a roll of the dice for me.

"Ugh, this ice wizard is really aggravating me. Oh, hey! I have a flame sword. Totally forgot I was even carrying it. I guess I'll use that."

That's pretty much how it goes for me. Mostly luck. Not much planning, though I wish that wasn't the case.

And I don't know how many of those types of weapons there are, honestly.

Hyrule

But honestly, I am treating this game like I treated the show Fringe. On the in season stuff, I just rarely participated in threads. When I REALLY enjoy something I just like to enjoy it, no chat, no extra info, just run with it. I'll figure MOST things out, and just let it absorb me.

If I ever play through again, I'll be more interactive.

However, I haven't seen another Frostblade or Thunderblade, so that's where the confusion lies. I can take pictures and track them down like I do sledgehammers, which I run through all the dang time.

Good stuff. I'll do this. I've been saving my Major tests of strength until I get a little more geared up.

The whole Map/Stamp thing is ingenious compared to SKyrim's "EVERYTHING ALREADY EXISTS." Much nicer to feel like you're building the map. All my major tests of strength have blade stamps.

This thread has been impressively spoiler free. At worst it's just little things. Kind of like talking to your friends at recess when you were a kid before the internet shite out complete walkthroughs the day before the game releases

Speaking of playthroughs, while all of the surprises will be gone and the initial disbelief at how awesome it is, I feel like a 2nd playthrough would be completely different just because of the lack of order and limits

Next time I leave the great plateau, I'll head west

I was better than everyone I knew at video games when I was a kid...

I think I am behind all of you guys in this thread

Hence the lack of participation. I have nothing to contribute.

someone at Nintendo is a big fan of the movie tremors

The preview set the expectation I would be on a sand seal while fighting it...not the case

There's one at Southern Oasis in Gerudo desert (Not too much of a spoiler I don't think as it doesn't show the name of the locations in regions until you've been there.)

Malduga there is actually really easy to fight. There's a very simple strategy for defeating it wihtout dying, or probably losing any hearts at all.

Purchased a Zelda BotW off eBay for $30 this past Monday. The Zelda BotWs are now up to $35-$40 but no where near Smash Zelda and Shiek in the current $50-$55 range. Should come in tomorrow. The Guardian is the only one i'm missing for BoTW. Might pull the trigger on eBay but really want the Toon Link and Zelda.

Same. Specifically, the first Divine Beast I'm going to is the Bird One. The special gust power you get from that is the most useful in the game to me.
