I feel like the "game over" screen is very reminiscent of the dark souls YOU DIED screen.... and I'm dying a lot more than previous zelda games

yeah, the color of the font even changes to indicate what killed you

I didn't feel like fricking with the Lost Woods when I found it. spent about 20m getting lost as frick and just left. will go back sometime
Best iteration of the Lost Woods yet imo. Lots of spoilers waiting inside too.

Pretty cool of them. Would've been easy to take a cheap shot

Yeah it was a 2d lost woods in 3D

I just love the way the mist started to envelope you if you went the wrong way and how you can outrun it back to safety if you're quick enough.
Allows you to feel out the safe path through.

I figured it out instantaneously but maybe it's my depth perception, it took me 5 tries because I couldn't

Tried to get back in Hyrule Castle last night. See an entrance where no one is in there and jog in. Gate shuts in front of and behind me and Lynel jumps down.
"Oh, frick me"

I accidentally walked into the final boss fight while I was hunting the castle grounds for a memory

I have 2 memories left, one of them I know where to look
the other (a picture of trees) could really be anywhere and this game is massive. so either i'll find it accidentally and it will be awesome or i'll never find it, but i'm not looking it up.

there are some tough boss fights in the tunnels underneath the castle
one of them gave me a surprising reward.

Has anyone here managed to kill a Lynel? Those things are hard as frick.

2 of them but mipha's grace, plus I usually keep 4 fairies in my pouch, and then not to mention the cooked shite I have on hand.
if you don't land flurry attacks, you have no chance and he strikes quicker than any enemy in the game, and since he moves across such a distance during the fight you need to constantly adjust the camera to properly dodge

in a confined space though, I don't know if I could beat a lynel
Posted on 3/10/17 at 1:23 pm to DelU249
Saw on Looper someone beat the game in 65 minutes. Is that impressive?

tough to say with the cooking and freedom allowed in this game. whatever item you need, if you know where to get it, it's yours.
I suppose it's possible to arrive to the fight with ganon with enough of the right shite to make it manageable

I swear Nintendo gets bashed a lot. But man when they release a game they've really worked hard on, you can trust it will ascend to GOAT status.
