Loving it so far. It looks great imo. Also sounds fantastic. They really did a great job with the sounds and subtle music to make the game so atmospheric and immersive. I've spent a ton of time just exploring because the world is so cool.

Alright, round two!! Woke up about an hour ago to find the kid playing with great silence and frustration (reminds me exactly of little Lucas 25 years ago, except my dad didn't kick me off for his turn).

So has anybody found a decent weapon that lasts? Every time I get a decent sword, it's broken before I can get all the appropriate curses out. And has anybody found a shop where you can actually buy them?

i feel you. i thought letting my 4 year odl watch me would be good enough since he likes watching play throughs of other games on youtube. NOPE not only does he want to play but he wants me to re read all the captions i read to him on my play through.

I see tons of people who are having issues with weapons breaking.. This hasn't been an issue for me at ALL honestly, I'm just using a healthy rotation of weapons I pick up. Plus the bow, which honestly is OP if you have good aim. I haven't come close to running out of weapons since the beginning. If I have slots I pick up the crap stuff (clubs and weak spears) mid fight and just throw them for criticals to save my other stuff.

Go out to the edge of the world and not just Karkariko and the SE Regions. You'll quickly find out why.

Activated 2 more towers so far today.

Let's just put it this way. Between these posts I broke 5 weapons fighting this bastard under a tower. And now there are 4 electric poes waiting for me even closer to the tower, so I now have to brew up some electric resistance and defeat these assholes before the next blood moon, which hopefully isn't minutes away. And I have to find more weapons as well.

To me on Switch it's easier to aim using motion control

It is so fricking satisfying getting to the top of those towers when you're overmatched.

You seem to have alot of the map explored how long did it take you to run from the south regions to the more north ones. I have been playing a while and I feel like the world is just on another scale from all other games

I'd say it's taken me roughly an hour per tower. Currently have 10 unlocked.

My buddy is taking that approach, he's got the Southeast region opened up. This map is fricking ridiculous. I just glanced at his and there's so much left, it's almost intimidating.

I checked in at the inn at kakariko village and fell asleep on the couch. Then I woke up with sleep paralysis and fell back asleep like 5 times.

I try to use the bombs to avoid weapon durability issues.

I keep a range of near the same damage weapons in rotation and after killing the first monster in a pack I use whatever he drops to kill the rest

The more I open it up, the more I begin to fathom how huge this world is. There's no way someone will be able to get 100% in a week.

A team of Korean kids working in shifts on meth couldn't finish this in a week.
